Welcome to Tavriski Christian Institute, that was founded in 1997 as an establishment of professional religious education, been set up for preparing Christians for the effective ministry and leadership for the church and society.
I was in the first group of TCI students. Since that time God used TCI's ministry so that hundreds of students were able to get an integral knowledge, get stronger spiritually, open for themselves new perspectives of Christian life and ministry. Our graduates are a subject of special gratitude for us.
Talking about the vision of our school I'd like to say that Tavriski Christian Institute (TCI) is aware that its vision and mission is preparing for Ukraine and foreign countries competent and spiritually mature Christian ministers, capable and desiring to meet the needs of the church and society in spiritual as well as in social areas.
In order to fulfill our mission in preparing the leaders for the church we have two programs Bachelor of Christian Leadership and Bachelor of Christian Education.
Through the programs Bachelor of Social Ministry and Chapels we prepare the leaders to serve the society.
To spread our ministry beyond the border of Ukraine we encourage our students for the mission ministry, and so far, we have graduates who serve in Ukraine, Russia, Byelorussia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Israel, Ethiopia.
Besides, we also want to answer God's calling for us as a school to serve in the other countries. That's why in 1999 we opened TCI's Extension in Uzbekistan and during our ministry there more than 80 ministers got Christian education through that program.
In 2008 TCI opened its Extension in Georgia. We believe that it will be helpful not only for the churches of Georgia but also for the churches of the entire Caucasus region (Azerbaijan, Armenia).
TCI Professors are professional. Most of them have both secular and theological education and cross-cultural teaching experience. In their pedagogical methods our professors try to take into consideration not only context of the culture but also the individual specificity of the audience. In the developing of the courses they use different sources from classical theological works to the latest meditations and articles. Our professors not only improve and deepen the material of their subjects, they also try to grow in understanding of their students, their past, present, and the most important, their future.
We consider our students to be not just our temporary clients but our constant co-workers in Christina ministry. We also understand that for a nowadays church is very important that its future leaders are not only stuffed with all kinds of knowledge but also have a transformed character and new skills for practical ministry. That's why we try not only supply our students with comfortable class rooms or Dorms, but also teach them to serve others outside of the church or Institute. To reach this goal our students have a ministry practice in the church that is an inevitable part of the complex studding process.
My desire is that all the Christians whom God entrusted to us successfully graduate from the TCI and not only graduate but keep the life connection with our school. I want them during the time of studding to find good and faithful friends among the students and professors and on our side we'll try to do our best in helping them after they leave the school.
I hope that thinking about higher Christian education or about the Christian school to partner with you'll consider our Institute as a possible option for it. We would be happy to have you as our student or partner and want our ministry with you to be such that you would have never regretted your choice.
