Thanksgiving

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.
(Php.4:6-7)
We thank God for His Only Son.
The Gospel is a very optimistic book, and Christians are incorrigible optimists.
We thank God for the Scripture.
People around us often have their joy based on some visible things. As a rule, good lunch, nice clothes, or a comfortable armchair in a new office create a good mood for most of them. But to rejoice at the time when nothing in your life has changed for the better is a real challenge. You need to rely on the invisible and to keep trusting. Believing in something that can’t seen at the moment we grow stronger, become more confident and joyful.
We thank God for the gift of faith.
Sometimes our daily routine begins to control us. At such moments we feel anxiety, confusion, and then tiredness and disappointment in our spirit. But when the peace of God reigns in our lives, we won’t suffer a loss neither in our spirit, nor in our soul and body.
We thank God for His peace, which guards our minds, emotions, and hearts in Christ Jesus.
“In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God”
Prayer is a breath of our faith.
We thank God for the gift of prayer.
Faith always prays and Prayer always believes.
What’s the difference between our gratitude before we have got the answer from our gratitude after we have?
Giving thanks to God before the prayer has been answered is a manifestation of our faith.
At the same time thanking Him after His solving the problem is a simple politeness.
We should be polite but the main thing is to believe.
On November 27 there was Thanksgiving worship service at TCI. Praying together and recalling God’s blessings inspired us to live and rejoice.
We thank God for all blessings given to TCI.
May all of us always be in high spirit and strong faith.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
(Php.4:4)
